Vigil for murdered Tamil journalists in Jaffna

Tribute was paid today to the 41 Tamil journalists killed during the armed conflict and the years succeeding.
Journalists,
media workers, politicians and civilians gathered around the monument
to murdered journalists near the courthouse building in Jaffna, to mark
World Press Freedom Day.
