White Van abductions :an eternal curse like the regime -an individual abducted in broad daylight in Colombo today

(Lanka-e-News-05.Dec.2011, 11.55PM) Under the murderous MaRa regime , in broad daylight today, (5) , an individual was abducted in the notorious white Van. Christofer Fernando aged 50, from Jampettah street , Colombo 13 is the victim of this abduction. Nobody has been arrested so far on this abduction. The relatives of Fernando had made a complaint to the Kotahena police.

It is significant to note that during the period of the war , over 500 Muslims and Tamils were abducted in the white Van , and until today , their fates are not known.

Thereafter , the first Sinhalese individual who was abducted in Colombo was journalist Prageeth Ekneliyagoda.
