Opening university will be decided after Pongal.

Information received from the Jaffna university arts faculty circles states, the decision to resume operating the university will be decided after Thai Pongal.

 

Jaffna university students Bawanthan, Tharshanth, Jenemey Jayanth and Solaman were arrested under Terrorism Prevention Law and are detained.

 

In this state to resume operating the university has become a major problem which currently exists. 

 

Concerning this, yesterday Monday a discussion was held among those connected with arts faculty headed by faculty Dean.

 

During the discussion it was decided only after Thai Pongal, it will be decided in resuming the operation of the university.

 

Shortly the science faculty staff will hold a discussion was notified.
