TNA members not permitted to visit schools in the northern province: Governor

The governor of the Northern Province ordered the secretary to the ministry of education, cultural affairs and sports C. Sathiyaseelan to issue circular towards zonal education directors, divisional secretaries and school principals not to grant permission for members of Tamil National Alliance to visit schools and government offices in the province.

TNA members are not permitted to hold discussions or political meetings at schools in the district. Strict disciplinary action would be taken against principals violates the order. Persons in the uniforms continuously cause disturbances to female students arrive to the Killinochchie Central Collage and also due to various exhibitions organized at the school premises students face hardships to continue their academic activities. According to the area residents day today military interventions increased on academic activities of students at Killinochchie Central Collage.
