have recently been newspaper reports about the increasing rate of
cancer in Sri Lanka. This could be attributed to a multitude of factors
including contaminated water, food and air and is a complex problem
which needs extensive scientific investigations. In modern times, people
are continuously drifting from the natural ways of life to highly
complicated urban lifestyles.
