Can you beat that..! Air force Commander Gagan to guard his ‘body’ spends Rs. 16.3 million of public funds.!

(Lanka-e-News- 05.Aprol.2016, 6.40PM) It  is truly incredible because it is incredibly true ! Sri Lanka Air Force Commander Gagan Bulathsinghala had spent (or wasted) Rs. 16. 3 million ! of public funds towards training his four body guards to guard his unique  ‘body’ ! This most rudely shocking information relating to most reprehensible ruthless profligacy committed at State expense by a public servant of the highest echelons  is based on reports reaching Lanka e news inside information division. Mind you , what is even more shocking is , this Colossal sum has been spent just on a two weeks’ training period !  which  deserves a place in the Guiness book of abominable records! 

Three Wing commanders and another officer of the security detail alias body guards of the Air force commander have been sent to Israel for two weeks training , and the total expenditure in this connection is Rs. 16.3 million ! These body guards are scheduled to return to SL on 30 th March after training (rather  wasting this colossal amount of public funds).

In SL’s history even when a war was raging , never were  so much public funds wasted to guard the body of a commander of the forces ! May be Gagan’s body is unique , or so he thinks !

Still worse ! it is the defense secretary Karunasena Hettiarachi who had authorized this training wasting so much public funds. Of course this is unsurprising because Hettiarachi is often invited to the official residence ‘Air House’ by Gagan Bulathsinghala for lavish drinking  bouts. 

Hettiarachi who drinks like a fish  during these drinking bouts , after he is inebriated addresses Gagan as ‘ machan  Gagan.’ Deputy defense minister Ruwan Wijewardena too participating in these drinking orgies at Air house is nothing uncommon.

Chiefs  of the forces jocularly say , the only moron of a defense  secretary who addresses commanders of the forces as . ‘machan’ is this present defense secretary – and that is none other than Karunasena Hettiarachi . 

So, when wonderful SL has stopped  breaking international records in the cricketing arena , our commanders of the forces and the wonderful defense secretary have started breaking ignominious records  in the national security arena !!
