Keheliya’s son and Kithruwan who are disgracing SL cricket wreak havoc again and get assaulted under influence of liquor..!

(Lanka-e-News -10.June.2016, 11.30PM)  Two Sri Lankan cricketers Kithruwan Vithanage and Ramith Rambukwella who were in a drunken state at the Water’s edge , Battaramulla had been severely assaulted by another group recently.

Kithruwan who suffered  head injuries was admitted to the Colombo private hospital , and was discharged  after two days indoor treatment.

Ramith Rambukwella after admitting Kithruwan to hospital has returned to the Water’s edge with a group of goons .

These two cricketers have played for SL , and have been selected for the SL team  ’A’ that is to tour England in a fortnight.

The two cricketers who were being coached by Avishka Gunawardena in view of the forthcoming tour , have got involved after consumption of liquor in the night.

They have not informed the SL Cricket Association of this incident  , and the officials who are aware of this are also pretending they do not know about it , based on reports.

Responding to our  inquiries , SL cricket Association CEO Ashley De Silva said , nobody has made any complaint to him in this regard.

Time and again there had been reports against  the behavior of these two players. Yet they were chosen for the A team to tour England because Sanath Jayasuriya the chairman of the Selection board is having most close and cordial relationship with the fathers of these players  , according to the team mates.

During a test match at Galle , Kithruwan disappeared from the hotel one night with a female secretary of the association ,and  he was  banned from participating in matches. 

Ramith Rambukwella is the son of former minister of media Keheliya Rambukwella . When the former was playing in the under 19 team , he was found guilty on charges of keeping a Russian woman in his room .  In addition when representing the SL ‘A’ team while he was on flight travelling in a plane belonging to the British airways from Granada , West Indies to London with his team , under the influence of liquor he tried to open the plane door instead of the toilet door which created a huge stir . This reckless and shameless conduct confirms what a drunkard he is .

While these  cricketers are all along misbehaving  in  a way that is  tarnishing the image of the game itself , why are much better players who are shining not being selected to the ‘A’ team ,the other players who are disillusioned over this favoritism are questioning with concern.
