Another telephone used by Anura Senanayaka to communicate with Presidential Secretariat found

Deputy Solicitor General Dilan Rathnayaka has told Court that another telephone number with which former DIG Anura Senanayaka had communicated with Presidential Secretariat during the period popular rugby player Wasim Thajudeen was murdered has been discovered by officers of the CID.
Deputy Solicitor General Dilan Rathnayaka has told Court that another telephone number with which former DIG Anura Senanayaka had communicated with Presidential Secretariat during the period popular rugby player Wasim Thajudeen was murdered has been discovered by officers of the CID.
This was when the Thajudeen murder case was heard before Colombo Additional Magistrate Jeyaram Trotsky on the 2nd.
The CID also informed Court that it has begun a probe into transactions conducted with credit cards belonging to Thajudeen around the time that he was brutally murdered.
The Magistrate ordered to further remand till 16th March former DIG Senanayake who is currently in remand, on suspicion of involvement in the killing and also ordered former Narahenpita Crimes OIC Champika Perera, who is currently on bail to appear in Court on 27th April.
