Regional NGO overly sensitive about queries regarding misuse of funds

( July 26, 2017, Hong Kong SAR, Sri Lanka Guardian) A past employee of the Asian Human Rights Commission, a regional Non-Governmental Organization based in Hong Kong SAR has been threatened with legal action for making a general inquiry about NGOs’ misusing funds.
The director, Policy and Programmes, Mr. Basil Fernando, has threatened John Sloan, with legal action if he does not reply and offer an apology by 3 PM on the 28th of this month.
Mr. Sloan has not yet responded to Fernando’s demand.
