Stern letter from Harin to SLT chairman: People voted on 8 th Jan. not for a Sirisena to wreak havoc..!

(Lanka-e-News-09.April.2016, 6.45AM) Lanka e news in a recent report exposed how Kumarasinghe Sirisena the chairman of SLT – Mobitel collected  US dollars 5000.00 of public funds as his monthly house rent when even in London and New York  in those capital  cities such houses do not fetch that rent, and how Kumarasinghe is abusing  his official position most selfishly to gratify  his personal pleasures and whims. The conduct of Kumarasinghe is most detestable and reprehensible because ,he is exploiting the victory won by the heroic people of the country who risked even their lives to  throw out the moribund Rajapakse regime that threatened Maithripala Sirisena and his family with sending them  6 feet below the ground .

These grave threats notwithstanding , Maithripala Sirisena without caring a damn showed great commitment on behalf of the people by coming to their side on 2014-11-21 , to rescue the country from the Rajapakse administration (maladministration).In the cirumstances, Kumarasinghe Sirisena is riding roughshod on the people’s cherished aspirations , and has paid no heed to the  commitments made by   Maithripala Sirisena . Much worse , he had even brushed aside the masses who made supreme sacrifices  risking even  their lives to elevate Maithripala to the post of president. 

‘Incredible but true ! House rent in Colombo is more than that in London and NY !! SLT chairman’s rent US $ 5000 !’ was the caption of the Lanka e news report . In the concuding paragraph, we warned‘

At the same time let us also advice Telecom  minister Harin Fernando not to fix his gaze on the google balloon and  keep looking up. It is high time he looked intently into the gobbling up of SLT funds by the present chairman.  If Harin is unable to control or curb the treacheries and perfidies of the chairman , he is not worth his salt , and his portfolio is not worth a cent .

Following our report , tens of thousands of viewers insisted that ,   Harin Fernando being the  minister  it is his duty to see to it that , irrespective of whose who , SLT chairman Kumarasinghe is ,  that the victor y of 8 th January accomplished by good governance cannot be permitted to be warped and undermined by Kumarasinghe .Based on the comments made by the public on the social media in response to that report clearly underlines this.

As a sequel to this,   Harin Fernando has sent a somewhat stern letter on the  5 th to Kumarasinghe Sirisena calling for explanation in regard to the management and operations of the SLT . The letter is herein which can be read after magnification.
