- White vans are back again

The white van phobia is back again. Notorious for its link with a series of abductions in the past, said to be carried out by the security forces; two youths were abducted in white vans on Thursday November 10 and Friday November 11 from Gonawala in Kelaniya and Jubilee Post in Nugegoda respectively.Who is behind this, is the question that has arisen among the victims’ families. It is learnt that both abductions had been carried out in a similar fashion by persons pointing pistols and claiming to be from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
