University teachers’ strike ends
THURSDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2012 
The
continuous strike carried out for nearly 100 days by the Federation of
University Teachers Associations (FUTA) has been called off say reports.
A
decision has been taken at the Executive Committee of FUTA to end the strike and
accordingly university teachers will report for duty on Monday say these
reports.
The
strike was carried out demanding 6% of GDP for education in the country and
several other demands relevant to university teachers.
