When the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign dismissed my client, Professor Steven Salaita,
from a tenured faculty position in August 2014 over tweets critical of
Israel’s assault on Gaza, it sent reverberations throughout the movement
for Palestinian rights in the US.
