Sri Lankan military watches over Hindu ceremony at temple inside HSZ

The Sri Lankan military oversaw the running of a religious ceremony at a
temple located inside a High Security Zone this week, reports a
military website.
Devotees from the Palali Rajarajeswary Amman, Gnana Vairavar, Myliddy
Kannagi Amman and Murugan Temples had to seek military permission in
order to hold ceremonies at their places of worship, which continue to
be inside the army cantonment, accessible only to the armed forces.
Villagers were loaded onto military buses and escorted to and from
the temples on Sunday, by troops from the 515 Brigade and 16th Battalion
the Gamunu Watch.
