Much hyped march a damp squib! Less than 4000 take part- Mahinda travels by jeep defeating purpose of the march !
(Lanka-e-News-
29.July.2016, 10.00PM) The Rajapakse brigand that bragged and boasted
they would gather a crowd of a million on the streets to participate in
their much hyped march could only muster about 4000 supporters, based
on reports reaching Lanka e news.
However , the State intelligence division has reported, a crowd of about
3500 supporters only took part though LeN reporters revealed there was a
maximum crowd of 4000 supporters.
The most ludicrous spectacle of this melodramatic march was , Mahinda
Rajapakse the megalomaniac Machiavellian leader himself taking part
while travelling in a jeep.(vide photo). Mahinda who is nearly 73 years
old and with obvious signs of senile decay mentally and physically
perhaps found it difficult to walk. Mahinda who thinks he has conquered
death is unable to conquer his diseases for which he is taking a whole
bag load of medication.
Mahinda had instructed that the march that halted midway shall
be be resumed second day morning from Utuwan Kanda, where Sardiel the
notorious rogue of the past resided , and it is the view of the people ,
Mahinda chose the right place to resume their march , so that all the
Sardiels (Robbing Hoods) including Mahinda Rajapakse could pay homage to
the Utuwan Kanda Sardiel before resuming their journey.
Meanwhile the people of Rathupaswala, Gampaha who were gunned down
earlier on by Rajapakses for taking to the streets are in the ready to
‘welcome’ the Rajapakses on the streets when their march is passing by
in the next few days .It is significant to note , it was on the 1st of
August , that is three years ago the Rajapakses committed the brutal
murders at Rathupaswala .In other words , this 1 st of August marks the
third death anniversary of the Rathupaswala victims who were cruelly and
ruthlessly murdered by the Rajapakse regime.
Incidentally , Mahinda yesterday said , during his tenure of
office court restraining orders were not taken against such protest
marches. Of course the Rathupaswala residents fully endorse that view,
for during his period they say, he simply liquidated their brothers by
directly and lawlessly gunning them down with bullets .
