CHURCH LEADERS CALLS ON PRESIDENT TO RECONVENE THE PARLIAMENT IN ORDER TO AVERT A DANGEROUS CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS.
27/04/2020In a singed letter the heads of churches under the National Christian Council of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) have requested the President Rajapaksa to revoke the order dissolving Parliament and to postpone the general election till September – October 2020 and avert the dangers of constitutional crisis Sri Lankan citizens can ill afford at this time.
