How Gota used BBS to attack Fashion Bug and the rigged investigations exposed

(Lanka-e-News -01.April.2013, 6.30PM) The on going investigations by the police into the losses incurred and the attack launched on the Pepiliyana Fashion Bug clothing establishment by the Bodhu Bala sena’s (BBS) sangha and civilian goons , to say the least is most rigged and falsified according to LeN inside information division reports reaching Lanka e news. The story that is being circulated that a multi millionaire has been arrested is also a fabricated lie by the police , it is learnt.

The attack launched and the rigged investigation are being monitored by the senior DIG Anura Senanayake under the direction of Gotabaya Rajapakse ,the author and main role player of the BBS violence and hooliganism. The OIC of the special investigation unit of Mirihana police Nimal Karunanayake IP is conducting the rigged investigation instructed by the senior DIG Senanayake. Though Four persons were arrested in this connection , and they can be held in custody for 48 hours and interrogated , they had been instead produced before the Nugegoda acting Magistrate and remanded.

The story that the suspects were taken into custody is a fabricated lie. In truth they had been produced by the BBS leadership itself. Among them no one is a multimillionaire. All of them are three wheel drivers who have acted as pawns who had been sacrificed to achieve more dastardly motives of the BBS. Those produced yesterday and remanded are namely , R D Simon , N B W Bandara, C S N Wijetileke and C Belan. There is also publicity given that two more suspects had been produced by the BBS leadership and they had been arrested. These two suspects are : Ranil Fernando and Susantha Wimal de Silva.

Gotabaya had given orders that not a single sangha member of the BBS shall be arrested. The BBS members who attacked as shown by media in their photographs have not been taken into custody based on Gota’s order.

Not only the media even the Fashion Bug video cameras had taped the attack from the beginning to the end when this attack was launched , and copies of these had been handed over to the police team that is investigating this marauding and murderous violence . Yet not one of them had been arrested , and until today , only those suspects produced by the BBS are being taken into custody. All these are orchestrated by Gotabaya via his shameless and notorious DIG Anura Senanayake who is in charge of the investigations. Despite the establishment having lost many millions following this attack , the police had still not made any assessment of this.

If a police investigation is duly conducted , before the suspect is produced before the court , an assessment must be compulsorily made on the losses incurred.

This is how Gotabaya the SL defense secretary notorious locally and the world over as the most unscrupulous and offensive defense secretary gave protection to the criminals :

The Manager of Fashion Bug Ashraf Jumiya had by phone informed the Mirihana police on the 28th , Thursday noon that preparations are in the offing for an attack to be launched on the establishment based on information passed to him by the customers. Prior to this, customers who were visiting the Fashion Bug stores Island wide , had been attacked with rotten eggs and filthy water , and the relevant branches have made complaints to the police stations of those areas.

The Manager of the Fashion Bug headquarters at Pepilyana who had been vigilant based on the threats they were receiving and the attacks already made on their branches , had sensed that there is going to be an attack on the establishment positively when 25 to 30 monks and secretary Gnanasarra Thero of the BBS congregated near the border of the Sunethra Devi pirivena in front of the establishment . He had therefore reported a second time to the police emergency unit on 119 by phone . By that time the marauding crowd had snowballed to about 100. The Manager Ashraf Jumiya had realizing the impending danger had again informed the Mirihana police by phone.

When the officers of the emergency unit receive a complaint on 119 ,they inform the relevant police station of the complaint – accordingly they have intimated to the Mirihana police.

After receiving three such calls , the OIC of the Mirihana police, HQI , Roshan Rajapakse had sought advice from his higher officers , Nugegoda SSP WMM Wickremesinghe and ASP Nishantha Soysa. They in turn had secured advice from senior DIG Anura Senanayake .The latter had told Roshan Rajapakse not to take any further action , and a number of police officers of the police vehicle division will be dispatched.

Accordingly , just four motor cycle policemen who were in that area had been dispatched to the scene. By that time the BBS which had begun its attacks to gratify their satanic (not religious) desires had assaulted the police officers who were trying to control the violence. The Hiru media made a report on this . Thereafter the Hiru journalist was also attacked.

Prior to this violence , the defense secretary Gotabaya had spoken on the phone to the IGP and told him there is going to be an incident at Peplilyana , but not to get worried over it , as the Boralesgamuwa and Maharagama police will look after it . Lanka e news reported this yesterday.

This was the methodology adopted by Gotabaya who told the police to close the eyes and ears , while giving protection to the BBS paramilitary group to unleash violence on the Pepiliyana establishment. After all was done according to his diabolic plans fully well , he sent the official army to give a respite to the paramilitary violent group after they have launched the attack as they wished.

While huge losses had been caused and injured persons are helplessly waiting , and there is a potential for racial unrest , the investigations into this wanton attack is being conducted most uncaringly .The police say , Galgoda Gnaana ssara Thero who led this violence should be arrested but Gotabaya and DIG Anura Senanayake are standing in the way . They also say they are not being permitted even to interrogate any Sangha goon.

What had provoked the Rajapakse regime against the Muslims is their desire to transfer the businesses in the hands of the Muslims to their Sinhala business henchmen . During the New year season , two leading Muslim clothing sales centers , namely, No Limit and Fashion Bug draw the largest crowds . But it is the need of Gotabaya to somehow create turmoil and turbulence to their sales and divert the business to his pal , Preethi Jayawardena , a popular clothes trader , and boost his business. It is to be noted that all imports of clothing by Preethi Jayawardena are not subject to inspection at the Customs because of the Rajapakse patronage he enjoys. He spent lavishly for Mahinda Rajapakse at the Presidential elections. Recently ,when Jayawardena moved into a new home , the chief guest at the house warming ceremony was , Gotabaya Rajapakse.

The paramilitary group in the name of BBS that had been originated by Gotabaya is used to serve the needs of such businessmen.

Another close bosom pal of the Rajapakses is readying to commence the import of canned beef from Australia. It is the BBS paramilitary group that has been selected to do the marketing of those products. A true Buddhist will oppose the consumption of beef. But the BBS paramilitary group opposes the killing of cattle and closes down the slaughter houses by conducting raids. Already they have closed a number of such slaughter houses . This is another racket, for those closures have created an environment for the Rajapakses to import canned beef and sell them.

To the BBS leaders a large sums of monies have been paid for carrying out this contract to close slaughter houses. It is a pity that a section of the people who are gullible and foolish who have no idea of the true picture have fallen prey to the eloquent speeches of these leaders like Galgoda Gnanasara Thero, the drunkard and criminal on whom even a fine was imposed by the courts for driving under the influence of liquor and meeting with an accident .
